"Oswin Thistle, son of Cormyrian Noble Partic Thistle, has been rejected one too many times by a courtesan. Lord Partic wants you to find his son and ensure that his "final grand gesture" doesn't involve cold steel."

"In Suzail, a noblewoman begs for help to free her son, imprisoned for the brutal killing of a cat. What begins as a simple legal favor spirals into an investigation of underground cults, forbidden faiths, and a former priestess of Sharess whose hatred of cats threatens the balance of the city’s unseen guardians."
